members can request one of our bloggers to come out to their shows and write a
blog post about them. Our blog posts are similar to reviews, but not focused on
the technical aspects of a production; rather, our goal is to reflect on our
experience attending the show, to get our readers excited about the show specifically
and engaged in theatre-going in general.
posts are shared on our social media accounts and included in our Casting the Net newsletter. They are
consistently one of our most popular features, and a great way for members to
spread the word of their productions.
bloggers are a group of dedicated volunteers who happen to love theatre and are
darn good writers. Currently blogging for us are:
like a GVPTA blogger to attend one of your productions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you’re a strong writer, like theatre, and are willing to commit to attending at least 1 or 2 shows per month and then writing a 500-word reflection on your experience within 2-3 days of seeing the show, please drop us a line at email@example.com to tell us about yourself and why you’d be a great addition to our team!
